Client: SIRVA is a HR relocation company that specializes in flex benefits and travel support for employees
SIRVA (BGRS)
OCT 21: BGRS (Now Sirva) tasked me with maintaining and iterating on a design kit for the company.
The Challenge
Stakeholders were consulted and the existing design system was catalogued and adapted to move away from print standards to a digital first approach. This meant converting colours and type scales to better reflect the digital product we were designing for.
Atoms, molecules, and organisms were meticulously reverse engineered from the existing design work to fit an atomic framework.
After the kit was established our first test was to build arguably the most critical section of the whole product, the flex benefits tool.
The redesign was initiated to make the benefits section of the product more aesthetically pleasing and cohesive. The redesign focused primarily on categorizing the existing benefits into more broadly defined categories to enhance the user experience.
The completed kit gave our UX designers and developers a more consistent and impactful tool to work from.
